This program will review genealogy basics for the beginner, with a discussion of techniques and resources that are available to get participants to the period of enslavement and beyond. The presenters will share their experiences. While questions are welcome during the presentation, time will be reserved to address personal queries. Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or any other device; the presenters will attempt to assist with some hands-on research.
