Join Ms. Mackie Rondon for a fascinating slide presentation and lecture on the history of hat making. Topics covered will include hat manufacturing in Beacon, trends in hat styles, materials used and their effect on the environment, and more.

Ms. Rondon is the owner of Rondon Supplies For Footwear. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and obtained an Accessories Footwear Design degree(AAS) with a minor in Millinery (Hat Design), and a Production Management: Fashion And Related Industries degree(BS). She had over 11 years in a career as a shoe Designer & Factory Production Manager with the Steve Madden shoe company.
