 Join balladeer, Linda Russell, as she brings the 18th century vividly to life through music. Broadsides, ballads, love songs, and humorous ditties are accompanied by guitar, penny whistle and hammered and mountain dulcimers as she tells the stories of everyday life in early America.

Included are such songs as Johnnie's Gone for a Soldier, Soldier, Soldier Will You Marry Me, and George Washington's favorite dance tune!

With featured performances that include A Prairie Home Companion, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Symphony Space and the National Archives, Linda is a recognized expert in historical interpretation.
