 Fit and Strong is an evidence-based, exercise and health behavior change program for older adults with osteoarthritis. Fit and Strong consists of 60 minutes of stretching, low-impact aerobics, and strength training exercises using ankle-cuff weights and resistance bands. The exercise is followed by 30 minutes of group discussion and problem-solving that helps participants maintain a safe and balanced physical activity program. Fit and Strong meets 2 times a week for 12 weeks. IF CLASS IS FULL, SIGN UP FOR THE WAITING LIST TO BE NOTIFIED OF THE NEXT SESSION.
