Description:
 Larry Gerstman will discuss the Perseid Meteor Shower of 2019 due to peak the night of this talk! Also discussed will be several current space missions that are revealing much about the moon, Mars, Jupiter, asteroids, and ‘Ultima Thule,’ located a billion miles beyond Pluto, and how Mercury will transit the Sun for the first time since 2016, a relatively rare occurrence. Following the talk, view celestial objects in the night sky (weather permitting) through a powerful telescope & binoculars.
