 The Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund, commonly known as "E-Rate," provides discounts to assist most schools and libraries in the United States to obtain affordable telecommunications and Internet access. Designed for the novice or beginner this workshop will walk you through E-rate basics and demonstrate how your library could benefit from applying for E-rate funds and receive a discount on your libraries phone or telecommunications services. The class will help you through the application process and provide tips and shortcuts on how to avoid the most common E-rate mistakes.
