Grant Writing Workshop

Event Type: Continuing Education Workshop
Date: 2/4/2019
Start Time: 1:00 PM
End Time: 4:00 PM
Description:
These in-person grant seeker forums will be focused on the IMLS “Accelerating Promising Practice for Small Libraries” funding opportunity (https://www.imls.gov/grants/available/accelerating-promising-practices-small-libraries). They are designed to help libraries and their prospective partners conceptualize projects, develop proposals, and navigate the federal funding labyrinth. Some of the content will be relevant to grant writing in general but the focus will be on this specific opportunity. Staff from the Department of Libraries, Vermont Historical Society, and Vermont Historical Records Program will walk attendees through the application process and will continue to offer support after the forum to those who decide to apply.
3 CEU (elective category) will be given for this workshop.
