|Marketing 101 for Vermont Libraries|
Event Type: Continuing Education Workshop|
Start Time: 9:30 AM
End Time: 3:30 PM
This is the first in a suite of three courses focused on marketing and Vermont libraries. When it comes to meeting the unique needs of your community and showing your value to decision makers, marketing is absolutely essential. In this workshop, we’ll cover some basic marketing principles and lay the groundwork for creating a marketing plan that is in line with your library’s strategic goals. Digital and print marketing strategies and best practices will be discussed, along with plenty of examples and opportunities for you to practice new skills.
We ask that you have your library’s mission statement and strategic plan/goals available to you during the workshop. We encourage you to bring your own laptop for this workshop for hands-on activities, but we will have some available too.
