 Guest Speaker: Curtiss Reed, Executive Director, Vermont Partnership for Fairness and Diversity

In this half day workshop, Reed will lead participants through an examination of implicit bias, creative authority, White fragility, and work force homogeneity as they relate to library services in Vermont. Participants will leave with a framework for a Diversity Plan to inform their collection development, programming, and approach to accessibility in their libraries.
The related workshop October 8th, “Equity & Diversity in Vermont Libraries,” will build on the topics from this workshop. Attendance at both is encouraged but not required.
