Join us for this workshop on how to host a library “signature event:” an event that tells your library’s story and promotes its mission and combines community programming with fundraising.
Using the Vermont Fairy Tale Festival as an example, we will discuss why to do a signature event, how to use the event as advocacy for your library, planning and budgeting, community collaboration opportunities, and event promotion. We will also share how libraries all over the state can participate in the Fairy Tale Festival, and the benefits of that for Vermont libraries, wherever they are located.
