This course will introduce the basics of public library administration to those working or seeking to work as small & rural public library directors, mid-managers or supervisors. Both big picture and day-to-day operations will be presented in an overview fashion. Resources and tools to explore more deeply will be shared with the expectation that librarians will continue to do continuing education throughout their careers.

This course fulfills the core Administration requirement for the Certificate of Public Librarianship program.
