Make Music VT at Your Library

Event Type: Dept. of Libraries Webinar
Date: 4/13/2021
Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Time: 11:00 AM
Make Music Day is an annual worldwide festival of music, celebrated in over 1,000 cities in 120 countries on June 21. Musicians perform in public places at no charge to celebrate music in all its forms and share it with the public in a community-building experience that brings joy to everyone.

Vermontís libraries are invited to create and host music experiences that enrich their local communities, whether oriented to children and families, seniors, new Americans, BIPOC, LGBTQ, teens, other marginalized groups, the general public, or all of the above! Big Heavy World coordinates the map of music sites and promotes artists and venues through its network of press contacts, social media, and radio station.

Join Jim Lockridge from Big Heavy World, Craig Mitchell and VTLIB staff to explore how your library can participate in Make Music Day 2021.

This workshop will take place on MS Teams. Link to join is on the VTLIB website CE page.
