Presented by Bennie Finch, Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Network of the National Library of Medicine, this webinar is designed to assist librarians and others who work with diverse populations in locating health information. There will be a brief overview of the current landscape of immigrants, refugees and asylees in the United States, a discussion of the differences between cultural competence and cultural humility and how they influence the workplace environment, and a presentation on a variety of reliable websites that provide quality health information in multiple languages.
